1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AppearIn AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AppearIn AI provides website analysis tools for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), as well as a Writer Network for vetted, independently reviewed assignments. The analysis tools may crawl publicly accessible web pages, score them across multiple criteria, and provide AI-generated recommendations for improvement.

3. User Accounts

• You may use certain features of the Service without an account. Signing in with Google enables additional features such as saving analysis history.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to analyze websites you do not own or have authorization to analyze in a manner that violates any applicable law
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to excessively crawl or scrape the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by AppearIn AI and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Analysis Results

• Analysis results and recommendations are provided for informational purposes only.
• We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will result in specific outcomes, rankings, or improvements in AI visibility.
• Scores and recommendations are generated using automated analysis and AI models, and may not be 100% accurate.
• You are free to use the analysis results for your own purposes, including sharing them with others.

7. Client Packages and Contributor Payouts

• Clients purchase service packages from AppearIn AI. A client request does not set a contributor payout. AppearIn AI separately decides whether to create an assignment and sets its fixed offered payout.
• Client package prices, AppearIn AI's commercial margin, and contributor payouts are separate commercial information. Writers do not receive client package or margin details, and clients do not receive writer-specific payout or destination details through the Writer Network.
• A writer sees the fixed offered payout before accepting an assignment. AppearIn AI will not reduce that accepted payout to recover its package costs or margin.
• Only a clearly disclosed or legally required tax, withholding, currency-conversion charge, or payment-provider deduction may affect the amount received, if applicable. Charges imposed independently by a writer's bank or payment provider may also apply.
• Payments are processed after work is approved and the payout destination is verified. The portal may show the payout status, masked destination, and payment reference.

8. Writer Network

• Writer Network applications and profile verification do not guarantee acceptance, access to assignments, minimum earnings, or ongoing work.
• You must provide accurate application details, list only public profiles you own or control, and never share account passwords or credentials with AppearIn AI.
• Before accepting an assignment, you can review whether it is a public contribution or private research, along with its scope, deadline, restrictions, and fixed payout. Payment becomes due only after the submitted work is manually reviewed and approved against the brief.
• Your work must be original and truthful. Every compensated public contribution must clearly disclose the relationship, and you must not participate where a platform or community prohibits paid contributions. Fake reviews, invented personal experience, unsupported claims, plagiarism, vote manipulation, mass posting, and deceptive engagement are prohibited.
• Approved earnings can be released only after a payout destination is verified through the approved secure process. The Writer Network stores only the preferred method and a masked destination label, not full bank credentials, passwords, PINs, or OTPs.
• AppearIn AI may request corrections, reject work that does not satisfy the brief, place a payout on hold while a dispute is reviewed, or suspend access for inaccurate applications, policy violations, fraud, or abuse.
• A verification code confirms control of a public profile; it is not an endorsement of the profile's authority or quality. Verified writers may be required to keep the code visible for 30 days after verification.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppearIn AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
