Quickstart
Go from signing up to reading your first AI visibility results. You'll create a project, review the brand profile, choose the questions your customers ask, and let AppearIn AI seed the first run on the AI engines included in your plan.
What you need
A brand or company website. Each account can currently own one brand workspace; brands shared with you do not use that slot. New accounts start on Free with a one-time ChatGPT snapshot.Set up your first project
Create a project for your brand
From the dashboard, choose Add your brand and paste your website URL. AppearIn AI reads your site to learn what you sell and how your brand name appears in writing. This becomes your brand profile.
Review the brand profile
Confirm the brand name, common variations (for example "AppearIn AI" and "Appear In AI"). Accurate variations matter because they tell us when an answer is really talking about you.
Choose your first prompt set
Add the questions a real customer would ask an assistant, like "best tools to track brand mentions in ChatGPT". AppearIn AI suggests prompts based on your brand profile and preselects enough for a useful first run. On Free, 30 selected prompts run once; you can keep growing the library afterward. Plus and Pro let you change the tracked set within the plan limit.
Finish setup
Finish onboarding. AppearIn AI saves your topics and prompts, then starts a background seed run on the AI engines included in your plan. You can go straight to the dashboard while results stream in. Free uses ChatGPT. Plus uses ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, rerunning both weekly. Pro uses ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, and Google AI Overviews and reruns weekly.
Read your results
You'll see Share of Voice, mention rate, citation rate, competitor standings discovered from the answers, and a per-engine breakdown. Each answer is saved so you can read exactly what the AI engine said.
One run is a snapshot, not a trend
AI answers vary slightly each time they're generated. A single run tells you what happened today. Plus and Pro rerun the same prompt set weekly so you can watch the line move; Free keeps the initial snapshot without scheduling another run.
